We are halfway through the week! It’s glorious! Even though I have back-to-back shows at Union Transfer this week, I’m already planning the weekend agenda with sunset sessions, free shows, and birthday bashes. The destinations are endless.

Here’s another destination for those of y’all looking to have some epic sing-alongs. From Piano Man to Rocket Man, prepare to belt it out with Yellow Brick Joel. Raise a glass and piano-pop rock it out with fellow Philly enthusiasts! Might have to dig out some sequins for this evening at the Keswick Theatre; see you there?*

• This calls for a big night out! Rufus Wainwright graces us with a grandiose evening of soaring vocals, piano wizardry, and theatrics. Got plans? You do now!

• Judge Reinhold is making an appearance to host an 80s cult classic, Ruthless People! Honestly, don’t miss this legendary performer and some prime 80s Devito on-screen energy. This is a night for some ironic and iconic laughter. Get those tickets!

• Bass Drum of Death are back with more psych-tinged, distorted rock for a heavy session at Johnny Brenda’s. This is for those of you who like it loud! Earplugs encouraged. Head banging mandatory.

• Hard to believe it was 15 years ago that Barcade descended upon Philly, in particular Fishtown, and thus began the pinball mania and classic arcade gaming in the neighborhood. Come celebrate with a variety of brews, games, and all-day deals. How’s that for a Sunday Funday?
