• PBS is beaming Philly’s cosmic jazz roots into orbit. A new American Masters doc on Sun Ra premieres February 20th, with appearances from the still-active Arkestra and their 101-year-old leader Marshall Allen.

• A Philadelphia edition of the classic board game, Monopoly, drops this November, and locals can nominate landmarks, businesses, and nonprofits to be featured on the board through the end of February.

• Starting next week, bus, trolley, and NHSL updates will no longer be posted on social media. Instead, they’ll live on SEPTA’s app, website, and third-party platforms like Google Maps and Apple Maps.

• The city is offering same-day pay for clearing snow from ADA curb ramps. Mayor Parker says the program pays $25 an hour, includes lunch, and aims to make sidewalks safer citywide after recent storms.
